Laura and Carl’s Siesta Key wedding was a very touching intimate ceremony.
With their bare toes in the soft Siesta Key sand, Laura and Carl celebrated their union with Carl’s 3 children and their closest friends. This gorgeous evening on the beach was full of love as the harpest played and the sun set in the background. The ceremony was so special as Laura and Carl made sure to include the 3 children throughout each part. Carl walked down the isle with his two daughters. And Carl’s son walked the beautiful bride down her sandy isle.
The sand ceremony was so cool as it also included the children. Laura and Carl each poured sand into a bottle and then invited up the three children, whom all poured in their own colorful sand. This was beautiful symbolism of the union of the whole family.

It was an absolutely gorgeous evening wedding on Sarasota’s beautiful Siesta Key. Congratulations Laura and Carl!

If you all remember, this awesome, creative couple, Ashley and Scott ‘took the plunge’ underwater for their engagement session! Well…they truly carried the theme into their wedding, holding their ceremony on the Floating Chapel!
It was a perfect, sunny Sarasota day as we took off from the docks of the Hyatt and cruised the Sarasota Bay to share in their intimate ceremony. Just after, they celebrated onboard with champagne and appetizers!

Just before the ceremony, Ashley and Scott shared a very intimate and special moment together. We called this the “non-first look,” because they didn’t want to actually see each other before the ceremony but were able to spend time alone together. This is truly a wonderful spin on the first look!

Ashley designed and created the reception theme and details all herself…and they turned out awesome! This vintage barbecue themed reception was complete with Sarasota’s best…Nancy’s BBQ!

An all-around amazing wedding celebration! Congratulations to Ashley and Scott!! It was such a pleasure to capture your innovative, creative and most-special day!

With their toes in the sand, vibrant sounds of a beautiful harp and the smell of the fresh sea air, Amy and Tres were joined by their closest friends and family to celebrate their love at this intimate Indian Rocks Beach wedding.
This peaceful day began at Midori Organic Salon & Spa where Amy and the ladies got their hair done and were treated to relaxing pedicures.

The ceremony and reception were held at a local beach cottage with the ceremony right in the sand. Tres created a perfect yin-yang in the sand where he and his love stood during their sand-ceremony which beautifully represented their two beings joining together as a greater whole. It was one of the most original and moving ceremonies I have ever been present for. I was in awe when I first heard the harpist begin! It was so beautiful and amazingly loud! Close friends and family gathered around with tears in their eyes and smiles of love while the yoga instructor and great friend who introduced Amy and Tres married them.

The reception was popping with natural green details! Beautiful, handmade plants (made from used snail shells and coconut fibers) were hanging with handwritten name-tags for each of their guests, organic and vegan cupcakes arranged in tiered layers, natural linens and cotton fibers, organic food, homemade sangria.. the list goes on!

What an absolute pleasure it was to be able to capture Amy and Tres’ beautiful, simple and pure, eco-friendly wedding!

Angela and Scott are such an inspiring couple. After being together for over 13 years, they finally tied the knot!
It was a day full of scattered thunderstorms, but we totally managed to dodge the rain multiple times and get some beautiful natural setting portraits – our favorite! The leaves on the trees were glowing a deep green and gave the forrest photos quite an enchanted look.
Before walking Angela down the aisle, her father spent a beautiful moment with her for their father/daughter ‘first look.’ It was so full of emotion – as angela’s bridesmaids and mother watched from afar, there was not a dry eye in sight (including mine)! The details of the reception were great! I loved their springtime garden theme, complete with an elegant cake topped with an adorable love-bird’s nest.
I had quite an amazing time capturing this beautiful couple’s big day! And an even better time with them for their ‘viewing party.’ It was so unbelievably rewarding to see both Angela and Scott’s heartfelt reaction to viewing their wedding images for the first time. Ahhh I love my job :)

Capturing Will and Alyssa’s wedding day was certainly a treat! Full of sunshine, colorful flowers and so much love, their blissful beach ceremony, held on St. Pete Beach, was romantic as ever. Alyssa chose the most beautiful palette of colors for their bouquets and floral arrangements, matching her and Will’s fun loving personalities just perfectly. Their flawless day ended with a fun-filled reception, held under the stars on an oceanside deck at the amazing TradeWinds Island Resort.

Katy and Matt were an absolute pleasure to work with. Katy is such a sweet person, quiet and humble with a smile on her face the entire day, while Matt’s love for his new bride just shined as bright as the sun.
Their day couldn’t have been any more perfect; they decided to have a “first look,” where Katy and Matt were able to spend a little alone time together before their ceremony, helping slow down the day. Then they left with their wedding party on a fun-filled trolley ride out to their beautiful ceremony on the white sands of Lido Key Beach.
After their vows, they took a sunset boat ride through Sarasota Bay for a romantic champagne toast, which brought them to their poolside cocktail hour, where family and wedding guests were eagerly awaiting the couple’s arrival. Their reception was beautiful, held at the fashionable Sarasota Hyatt Regency, where everyone enjoyed an elegant seated dinner and a cheerful night of dancing and celebration. We ended the night with a fun shot of the bride and groom back in their bridal suite, perhaps my favorite image from the day!

I was so honored to capture Ginny and Tezia’s special day! It was an absolute blast working with two brides, two dresses, two gorgeous rings and a whole bunch of bridesmaids!!
They rented an awesome beach house in Jacksonville Beach for the two of them, their parents and their entire wedding party to stay at for the weekend. Their ceremony was held in the backyard with the breathtaking backdrop of a private beach right on the Atlantic. I was overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that all of their guests and family members had towards their commitment to one another and equality for all. Thanks Ginny and Tez, for having me be a part of your beautiful celebration!

Rebecca and Jim made the most picturesque bride and groom on their special day! Not only were they both gorgeous, but so high in spirit and love for their family members, friends and one another. We had a blast with their wedding party, with everyone so full of energy, cracking jokes and having fun!
Some of my favorite images from the day are of Jim serenading his beautiful bride with his guitar. I love when my clients bring along things to incorporate into their photos… It really brings out their personalities and provides images that are even more meaningful to them! Everyone had an amazing time celebrating Jim and Rebecca’s love, and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of and capture.
