Tracy and Seth are a such a fun couple! With his well thought-out and creative plan, Seth proposed to Tracy at Sarasota’s beautiful Island Park. He actually hired a caricature artist whom he stationed at the Marina!!
As Tracy and Seth walked around the park, Tracy was antsy to leave and get on with her weekend errands. She couldn’t figure out why the heck Seth wanted to relax at Island Park when they had so much stuff to do. Somehow Seth convinced the reluctant Tracy to get a caricature drawing made of the two of them. When the artist was finally finished, Tracy looked down at the picture and it was an awesome illustration of Seth on one knee asking her to marry him. Boom! What a fun proposal story. Fittingly enough, we just had to capture their Sarasota engagement photography at Island Park!
We had such a blast with Tracy and Seth for their downtown Sarasota and bay-side engagement photography session! Can’t wait until their beautiful wedding at The Field Club in Sarasota!

ASHLEY & SCOTT ARE TAKING THE PLUNGE!!!
Ashley & Scott are a fun-loving couple who enjoy the beach and all things water. They are even getting hitched on The Floating Chapel here in Sarasota! They came to us excited about literally taking the plunge for an underwater engagement session. Ashley was ecstatic about having underwater photos in a vintage bridal gown and Scott in classic suspenders and slacks. The underwater photography turned out perfect for their wedding invitation design – where they showcased a bunch of these images to their guests. We shot the engagement session at a beautiful private and historic residence in Downtown Sarasota. The refreshing salt water pool surrounded by the brick courtyard and classic fountain complete with lilly pads was an absolute perfect setting for the couple’s vintage underwater vision.
By the end of the photo shoot, we were all totally out of breath and eyes were a bit foggy but it was so seriously WORTH IT!
It actually happened to be on Facebook where Scott’s cute smile first caught Ashley’s eye from the “People You May Know” tab. With an upwards of 50 mutual friends, she got right to business and asked to be his friend. Friend request accepted, and the rest is history.
All I can say is WOW. I’ve been having so much fun working with this gorgeous couple for their engagement and up-coming wedding photography. They are seriously awesome, and totally made for one another.
We had a blast spending the warm summer morning in downtown Sarasota’s historic district. Ashley’s first love, her adorable black lab, even joined us for a few fun family shots – gotta love that big happy tongue!! My favorite images are the oh-so-sexy ‘Jungle Love’ series we took at the end of the session. I can’t get over how beautiful Ashley and Scott look together, their love and laughter certainly made for an awesome summer lovin’ engagement shoot!
My favorite time of the year is by far the beginning of spring, so I was thrilled when we set a springtime date to capture the love between Jennifer and Joey for their engagement session! We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in downtown Sarasota’s historic neighborhood of Laurel Park, where the sweet smell of jasmine filled the air. The warm sun shined down in all its glory, lighting up the colorful hues of the plants and wild flowers that surrounded us. Nothing feels more like love than the magic of spring, and combined with the beauty of this couple, we captured just that.
When I first met Amy and Tres, I felt as though I had been reunited with two of my best friends. They welcomed me into their lives with warm embraces and genuine smiles that made me feel so very loved and appreciated. As this beautiful couple are engaged and expecting a little one very soon, their ‘engagement session’ was also an ‘expecting’ session! We had a blast at the beach on Siesta Key, celebrating this exciting time in their lives. I feel so lucky to have them as clients and I cannot wait to continue capturing their love story at their wedding and throughout their journey as new parents <3
Krista and Ryan visit sunny Sarasota at least once a year from their also beautiful (but not so warm) home of Newfoundland, Canada. So when they got engaged they thought their next visit to, what I like to call, paradise, would be a perfect time and place to have their engagement photo session! One of the most adorable couples I have ever worked with, Krista and Ryan were so sweet with one other and super happy to be spending such a gorgeous day in the sunshine and warmth of Arlington Park.
I was soo excited when Sarah and Eric got engaged and asked me to create their engagement photos!! I’ve known Eric since middle school, and have become great friends with Sarah, working with her for almost 2 years before I merged to full-time photography! Naturally, the three of us had a lot of fun walking around the beautiful historic neighborhood of downtown Sarasota.
They are such an amazing couple, complimenting one another in every way. They had been best friends for quite some time, supporting each other through the many ups and downs of life. When, one day, their undeniable love was just too strong to hide. It really is amazing that sometimes true love is found in the most unexpected places, and sometimes that place has been right in front of you all along <3
