Amy seriously ROCKED her baby bump for her beach maternity session! She and Keith made a visit from the east coast to the pristine beaches of Sarasota, where the clear turquoise water and sand made of 99% quartz made the perfect paradise setting for this true “salt life” couple. They were so much fun to work with and I cannot wait to meet their little blonde beach babe when he arrives <3 Thanks Amy and Keith!!

Brandy’s maternity session took place on a beautiful open beach on Longboat Key. Full of anticipation and excitement, Brandy and her husband enjoyed the peaceful afternoon with the warm sunshine, soft sand and fresh ocean breeze. As there were nearly any people in sight, we felt we had the entire beach to ourselves, slowing down the moments and enjoying life to its fullest in the ‘Now.’ I can’t wait for their precious baby girl to arrive, and continue capturing the love and growth of this adorable new family <3

I was absolutely thrilled when Vanessa told me that her and Mark were making a visit to Sarasota with their “big boy” Aiden. This was their first visit back since they moved to Louisiana when Aiden was only a tiny little guy. I had the privilege of shooting his newborn session, and then their first session as a family, shortly before they moved away.

This visit was Aiden’s first time back to his place of birth and he felt right at home at Siesta Key Beach! He’s absolutely fascinated with the water and attempted to jump in whenever he could! Not being satisfied with a mere foot in the water, he wanted IN. read more

First of all, I cannot believe it has already been 6 months since Grayson’s newborn session!! This little rockstar of a babe has certainly grown fast..! He’s got the greatest little personality and is not afraid to show it. I had such a fun time capturing his laughter (special thanks to Daddy Graham), and the little expressions he makes when observing the giant world around him. We had fun incorporating some “island baby” themed shots, as Grayson and his parents are moving to Texas this coming month, and they wanted to take some ‘beachiness’ with them:)

I am certainly sad to see them go, as I have been working with Amanda and Graham since their engagement!! I know that there will be visits, however, and more opportunities to capture the growth of their adorable little man. Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from Grayson’s 6 month island shoot:)

Krista and Ryan visit sunny Sarasota at least once a year from their also beautiful (but not so warm) home of Newfoundland, Canada. So when they got engaged they thought their next visit to, what I like to call, paradise, would be a perfect time and place to have their engagement photo session! One of the most adorable couples I have ever worked with, Krista and Ryan were so sweet with one other and super happy to be spending such a gorgeous day in the sunshine and warmth of Arlington Park.

Capturing Will and Alyssa’s wedding day was certainly a treat! Full of sunshine, colorful flowers and so much love, their blissful beach ceremony, held on St. Pete Beach, was romantic as ever. Alyssa chose the most beautiful palette of colors for their bouquets and floral arrangements, matching her and Will’s fun loving personalities just perfectly. Their flawless day ended with a fun-filled reception, held under the stars on an oceanside deck at the amazing TradeWinds Island Resort.

I was soo excited when Sarah and Eric got engaged and asked me to create their engagement photos!! I’ve known Eric since middle school, and have become great friends with Sarah, working with her for almost 2 years before I merged to full-time photography! Naturally, the three of us had a lot of fun walking around the beautiful historic neighborhood of downtown Sarasota.

They are such an amazing couple, complimenting one another in every way. They had been best friends for quite some time, supporting each other through the many ups and downs of life. When, one day, their undeniable love was just too strong to hide. It really is amazing that sometimes true love is found in the most unexpected places, and sometimes that place has been right in front of you all along <3
